As part of the 33rd-anniversary celebrations of Sonadezi’s establishment (December 15, 1990 – December 15, 2023), Sonadezi Corporation organized the 2023 Sports Festival with the theme ‘Sonadezi Racing – Together We Win.’
The Sonadezi Sports Festival took place both online and in-person. The online festival extended over 20 days from November 20 to December 9, featuring online running/walking and online cycling. The in-person option followed on December 15, boasting the traditional outdoor sports and tug-of-war competition.

Nearly 1,500 sports lovers from Sonadezi Corporation and its member companies attended the Sports Festival, with 832 competing in outdoor sports and tug-of-war activities, and 660 engaging in online running/walking and online cycling.

The tug-of-war competition is energetic and fun
After 20 days of intensive competition marked by a lively atmosphere and an energetic spirit, 130 attendees and 14 teams emerged victorious and were awarded prizes by the event’s organizers.
Ms. Luong Minh Hien, Deputy General Manager of Sonadezi Corporation and Head of the Sports Festival organizing committee, commended the active engagement of member companies, teams, attendees, and supporters in her closing remarks at the Sports Festival. She noted how their collaboration contributed to the meaningful sports festival, a highlight of the Sonadezi Corporation’s 33rd anniversary.

The Sports Festival is the major annual sports event in the Sonadezi system, aiming to provide employees with a pleasant and meaningful opportunity for health improvement while also strengthening relationships amongst member companies.
