Sonadezi Corporation’s 2018 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders

According to the report at the meeting, Sonadezi Corporation’s 2017 operating results exceeded the targets set by the 2017 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. The Corporation achieved VND 403.381 billion in revenue, reaching 105.78% of the plan; VND 259.59 billion in profit after tax, reaching 227.48% of the plan; 6.88% in return on equity, reaching 224.98% of the plan. Especially, with VND 351.911 billion was contributed to the state budget in 2017, Sonadezi Corporation achieved 703.82% of the plan. SNZ stocks of Sonadezi Corporation was listed on Upcom since November 20, 2017.

Regarding the 2017 consolidated report, Sonadezi Corporation arrived at VND 4,051.353 billion in revenue, reaching 115.65% of the plan; VND 591.13 billion in profit after tax, reaching 121.57%% of the plan, VND 755.922 billion in budget contribution, reaching 263.45% of the plan and 9.64% in return on equity, reaching 116.47% of the plan.

In 2017, besides the effective implementation of existing projects, Sonadezi Corporation focused on carrying out the project “Conversion of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Zone’s functions”, and continuing to accelerate the progress of existing projects. Sonadezi Corporation also allocated investment capital and adequate resources for socially significant projects, including Quang Trung waste treatment complex, Vinh Tan residential waste treatment complex, Nhon Trach water supply system (phase 2), Thien Tan water supply system (phase 2), Vinh Cuu water supply system with a capacity 15,000 m3 per day (the system was designed to supply clean water for rural areas).

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung praised and highly appreciated the remarkable achievements of Sonadezi Corporation in 2017. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung acknowledged Sonedazi Corporation’s efforts and engagement in organizing the working sessions with the leaders of the province and regulatory agencies which aimed to seek solutions to subsidiaries’ problems. Besides, Sonadezi Corporation played a great role as a contributor to help the labors have stable jobs and good incomes. Sonadezi was also proactive in implementing socially significant projects and charitable programs.

Especially, it is essential to focus on solving the difficulties encountered in the projects, developing a divestment strategy and restructuring plan, promoting human capital and contributing to the wellbeing of society. I believe Sonadezi Corporation will support Dong Nai province greatly and comprehensively in completing the socio-economic tasks in 2018.”, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung said.

In accordance with the guidance of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung, the General Assembly of Shareholders of Sonadezi Corporation discussed the solutions, production targets and other important goals in 2018. The General Assembly of Shareholders voted on the contents submitted to the Assembly and reached a consensus with a turnout rate of 100% as well as decided that the dividend yield in 2017 was 7%.

In 2018, Sonadezi Corporation strives to achieve consolidated results with total revenue of VND 3.935.448 billion; profit after tax of VND 660.571 billion; contribute to state budget VND 320,785 billion; reach 10.96% return on equity. The Parent Company aims to achieve total revenue of VND 465.012 billion and profit after tax of VND 270.375 billion, contribute VND 32 billion to the state budget and reach 7.16% return on equity.
