After 3 decades of establishment (December 15, 1990 – December 15, 2020), Sonadezi is currently a leading enterprise in industrial park development with a total of 11 industrial parks, attracting more than USD 10 billion in investment and VND 16,546 billion.

Sonadezi – the first brand in the field of investment and business in infrastructure of industrial parks (IPs) was established on December 15, 1990. 30 years ago, the responsibility of pioneering in the field of industrial park infrastructure was a pride but also a great challenge for Sonadezi, because at that time, the industrial park model had no precedent in Vietnam, and there was no mechanism to manage the industrial park. The problem of capital, operation mechanism, management, development resource posed in the context that Sonadezi only has a group of pioneers including 8 people and a capital of more than VND 1 billion.

Sonadezi has tried to overcome the difficulties and challenges in the initial step to both manage, care for and maintain Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park (Bien Hoa Industrial Park was established in 1963) while studying and proposing a mechanisms and policies, contributing to the creation of the first infrastructure and legal premise for Dong Nai to open to attract domestic and foreign investment projects by the centralized industrial park model.

After 30 years, Sonadezi is now a leading enterprise, playing a key role in industrial park development in Dong Nai, and at the same time expanding industrial park investment in many other provinces and cities such as Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Binh Thuan. With a total area of about 4,578 hectares, Sonadezi’s IPs have attracted 803 projects (including FDI 583 projects and DDI 220 projects). These include about 60 projects with investment capital of over USD 10 million.

Those are very valuable numbers for Sonadezi, but more importantly they are the quality investment flows and the development of customers. Sonadezi’s IPs have attracted many high-tech projects of Fujitsu, Bosch, Sanyo, Shell, Atus, Hans Vina, 3M, Sony, Kenda, Meggitt, Mabuchi… with a total investment of about USD 1.5 billion. Thereby, contributing to raising the value of industrial production, promoting the formation and development of local spearhead industries and creating a foundation to attract other projects in the coming time.

Currently, Sonadezi’s IPs have been basically filled, including 5 100% occupied IPs, 2 95% occupied IPs. The remaining industrial parks of Thanh Phu, Chau Duc, and Giang Dien have only attracted investment in recent years but have also reached the occupancy rate of 35% – 75%. Particularly, Tan Duc Industrial Park (Binh Thuan) is in the process of being deployed. The project construction is expected to start in 2021, with land lease to be formally offered in Q1/2022.

Looking back on the 30-year journey, it is not enough to just measure Sonadezi’s success in investment and industrial development by numbers. Because from the pioneering role to the leading position in this field, Sonadezi has accumulated great intangible values, in which the Sonadezi brands, the brands of its subsidiaries operating in the field of industrial park infrastructure such as: Sonadezi Long Binh, Sonadezi Long Thanh, Sonadezi Chau Duc, Sonadezi An Binh, Sonadezi Giang Dien, D2D and many famous industrial parks such as Bien Hoa 2, Go Dau, Xuan Loc, Long Thanh, Thanh Phu, Suoi Tre, Giang Dien, Nhon Trach 2, Chau Duc which are special achievements of Sonadezi.

After 30 years of efforts to develop together with the locality and the country, Sonadezi has become a strong corporation with total assets of more than VND 18,800 billion. Sonadezi currently has 17 subsidiaries operating effectively in the following fields: industrial and civil real estate, construction and trading of building materials, support services, water supply.

With a total investment of about VND 29,000 billion and nearly USD 35 million, more than 60 projects of Sonadezi and its subsidiaries have created a driving force for socio-economic development in many localities such as Dong Nai, Ba Ria – Vung Train, Lam Dong, Binh Thuan.

With outstanding achievements, over the past three decades, Sonadezi has been conferred the title of Hero of Labor in the Innovation Period; Labor Medals, First, Second and Third Class; awarded the Certificate of Top 50 Famous Brands of Vietnam in 2019, 2020; achieved the Top 10 UPCoM enterprises with the best information disclosure and transparency in 2019 – 2020 along with many other noble awards and titles.
