Dong Nai Port Joint Stock Company (PDN) has just celebrated its 30th anniversary on June 6, 2019. Member of Party Central Committee, Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai attended and presented PDN the Emulation Flag of 2018, the baldachin praising 30 years of construction and development of PDN.

After 30 years of continuous innovation and development, PDN has promoted the unique seaport role of Dong Nai province and became an important transshipment port of the region with total asset value, total investment, and the strongly growing revenue around VND 1.000 billion. At the same time, PDN has grown to become one of the leading seaport companies in terms of efficiency, development speed and brand value in the Southeast region.

At the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated the pioneering role of PDN and the efforts to overcome difficulties since the inception to gradually generate and develop, promptly meeting the needs of goods circulation for businesses in the province, confirming the important role in the logistics network of the province and the Southeast region.

Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai emphasized: “In the past 30 years, the PDN’s leaders and employees have been proactive and created breakthrough solutions to develop PDN. The highlight is the negotiation with customers to advance investment and construction of the Port; converting Long Binh Tan Port into a container port; promoting investment, building material facilities to increase production capacity of Dong Nai Port system and receiving ships of up to 30,000 tons at Go Dau Port… The achievements of PDN have contributed to the development of Dong Nai’s import-export, industry and trade.

PDN is a member of Sonadezi Corporation (merged with Sonadezi in 2005). Every year, PDN achieves and exceeds the assigned production and business plan, always being one of the leading subsidiaries in all aspects, especially in terms of operating efficiency, growth rate of the Sonadezi Corporation.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Chairman of PDN said: “From the spirit and will of the team, from the foundation of creation over the past 30 years, PDN will boldly set bigger goals in the coming journey. Specifically, in the next 3 years, PDN will basically complete the project of expanding Long Binh Tan and Go Dau Port systems, investing and putting into operation 2 more 30,000-ton bridges at Go Dau Port. At the same time, the company will achieve the revenue target of VND 1.000 billion and the cargo volume will reach about 20 million tons by 2022.”

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan – PDN General Director said that in the coming time, to achieve the set goals, PDN will focus on improving the quality of governance and administration; strengthening training and development of staff and promoting infrastructure investment and equipment to increase production capacity. Thereby, PDN will develope the brand value on the basis of the value created for the community, society, customers, partners, shareholders, and staff. In 2019, PDN will immediately try to complete the license procedures to become a border port in parallel with the establishment of a border gate Customs Sub-department at Long Binh Tan Port of Dong Nai Customs Department.

At the ceremony, the leaders of Dong Nai Province, Leaders of Sonadezi Corporation and PDN leaders awarded certificates of merit to PDN’s employees based on their excellent achievements and contribution to PDN in 30 years.
