On January 10, 2025, Sonadezi Corporation held the 2024 Review Conference and assigned the 2025 Plan.
According to the report at the Conference, in the context of a gradually recovering economy but still many difficulties and challenges, the Sonadezi system basically completed the 2024 plan.
2024 Review Conference and 2025 Plan Assignment of Sonadezi
Consolidated results show that Sonadezi and its subsidiaries achieved total revenue of VND 6,309 billion (99% of the plan), contributed VND 705 billion to the state budget (108% of the plan), Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) of VND 1,320 billion (96% of the plan), and a NPAT/owner’s equity ratio of 15.27% (100% of the plan).
In which, the Parent Company – the Corporation – achieved revenue of VND 764 billion (110% of plan), contributed VND 59 billion to the state budget (98% of plan due to continued land rent reduction in the year), profit after tax of about VND 500 billion (108% of plan), and a NPAT /owner’s equity ratio of 12.84% (107% of the plan).
In 2024, Sonadezi’s industrial parks attracted 23 projects with a total registered capital of VND 3,800 billion and USD 403 million (an increase of 143% compared to 2023). In addition, the Sonadezi system supplied more than 85% of domestic and industrial water in the province with a consumption volume of 119 million m³ of clean water; served the exploitation and transportation of nearly 18 million tons of goods through the port; and trained many new occupations for more than 1,000 students and trainees.
At the same time, the Sonadezi and its subsidiaries overcame difficulties and ensured the maintenance of processing more than 75% of household waste in Dong Nai province, and repaired road sections under BOT 768 to ensure traffic safety. Also in 2024, Sonadezi continued to implement several social housing projects and contributed VND 16.5 billion to charity and social programs.
Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Truong Thi Huong Binh – Director of Dong Nai Department of Finance – praised and congratulated Sonadezi for its achievements. She requested Sonadezi to continue researching participation in new projects, implementing the Restructuring Plan for the Corporation for the period 2021–2025, and preparing human resources for the next development phase.
At the Conference, Sonadezi Corporation’s Board of Directors commended and awarded 5 groups of capital representatives at 5 member units for their outstanding achievements in 2024.
According to the 2025 plan, the Sonadezi and its subsidiaries expects to achieve total revenue of VND 6,680 billion, Net profit after tax of VND 1,404 billion, state budget contribution of VND 745 billion, and a NPAT/owner’s equity ratio of 15.46%.
