On April 17, 2019, Sonadezi Corporation held the events to launch and announce its new brand identity and website.
Sonadezi Corporation’s logo has 4 versions including a horizontal logo, a horizontal logo with a slogan, a vertical logo and a vertical version with a slogan.
Sonadezi Corporation’s brand identity has been applied in the entire Corporation since April 17, 2019. Sonadezi Corporation also released the brand manual that clarifies logo standards and guides Sonadezi’s subsidiaries on how to use Sonadezi’s brand identity.
Sonadezi is the abbreviation for Société Nationale Pour Le Développement des Zones Industrielles (National Company for the Development of Industrial Zones) established on December 26, 1963. With the mission of seeking land to establish and develop industrial zones, from its inception to 1975, Sonadezi built plenty of industrial zones throughout the country, including Bien Hoa Industrial Zone (This is now called Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Zone).
After April 30, 1975, Sonadezi was dissolved. Till 1990, Bien Hoa Industrial Zone Development Company – the Infrastructure Company that took over Bien Hoa Industrial Zone established by Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee – decided to use Sonadezi as its transaction name, marking the return of Sonadezi brand and continuing Sonadezi’s mission of establishing and developing infrastructure in industrial zones.
After nearly 30 years, Sonadezi has established a firm position and gained a reputation as an Infrastructure Corporation that has sustainable development. Sonadezi brand is considered as a successful brand and one of the valuable assets of Sonadezi Corporation.
Over the years, besides expanding the Corporation’s scale and value, Sonedezi also pays great attention to brand building. Sonadezi registered the copyright for its logo design years ago. However, while managing and using the Sonadezi logo, there were violations of logo standards that stained the brand reputation of the Corporation.
Since 2005, Sonadezi operated as a parent company with the merger of 21 subsidiaries. Over the past 14 years, Sonadezi Corporation and its subsidiaries managed to build a strong system. However, the application of brand identity in the entire Corporation was being done in a piecemeal and inconsistent manner.
Realizing the issues, Sonadezi Corporation and its subsidiaries decided to restructure the brand identity in order to use and promote the value of Sonadezi Corporation’s brand in harmony with the value of each subsidiary’s brand. Therefore, brand image would be created in a comprehensive, systematic and cooperative manner. This aims to increase the brand value of each subsidiary and the entire Corporation.
At the Ceremony, the brand restructuring consultancy introduced the Sonadezi Corporation’s brand manual. Besides presenting the structure and meaning of the Sonadezi Corporation’s logo, the consultancy also gave detailed guidance on the principle of using Sonadezi brand to subsidiaries.
Currently, the first phase of restructuring Sonadezi Corporation’s brand is completed, the next phase that aims to guide subsidiaries on how to use Sonadezi brand is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
