The day I started working at Dong Nai Urban Environment Services One Member Limited Company, now Sonadezi Environment Joint Stock Company (a member of Sonadezi), I was assigned to deliver invoices and collection of money at companies located in industrial parks such as: Bien Hoa 1, Bien Hoa 2, Amata and Thanh Phu.
Although the work is hard, in return there is an interesting thing that I can enter the offices of foreign companies, learn from their working style, admire the beautiful buildings and the professional office layout. There are many different ways of office layout, depending on the customs of each country, for example, Korean companies often decorate flags and stick logos or slogans about 5S to remind employees to work properly. Japanese companies arrange clean and tidy offices, when entering the office, they must remove their shoes and put them in the closet and wear slippers that have been prepared in front of the office. The layout and arrangement of the foreigner’s desk is also very scientific and beautiful.
From my observations, in more than 500 companies I visited for work, almost none has elevators. My biggest obsession is those companies arranging accounting rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors, so I have to climb the stairs to these floors in hot afternoon.
Blue building – symbol of the success of Sonadezi
However, there is a blue building – Sonadezi building – located at No. 1, Street 1, Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, An Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai, which always delights me when I come to collect money and deliver bills. In 2012, it was the most beautiful building in Dong Nai province and also the first highrise in Bien Hoa City. The building has 21 floors, built in a modern style, with a reasonable and luxurious layout and what I like most is the elevator. I just need to press the button and wait a few seconds to get to the place to collect money. The ringing sound of the elevator sounds very pleasant, I often say to the driver: “Why don’t you go inside to visit, it is a modern and beautiful building!”. The driver laughed. “I think it’s too luxury for me to enter!”.
There was a time when the bill was delivered late, the driver said: “Let stay here for a while and go inside the building to get some food, chill down and then deliver the bill again, because traveling takes so much time”. Sitting from the 19th floor, having lunch, enjoying a drink, watching the whole city from above, I feel that Bien Hoa City is incredibly beautiful. Just like that, every time handing over the bill at the building, I can take the elevator, visit the building, and feel like I am going to a modern workplace in a foreign movie!
Time has passed, and it has been nearly 10 years, Bien Hoa City now has many modern buildings and structures springing up like mushrooms, but that blue building is still proud to be a first-class office building in Dong Nai province. The blue building with the SONADEZI logo is a symbol of connection and marks the first step for the development of the City, thereby creating development momentum and a bridge for companies and businesses, contributing to the make the City become the first-class city and reach new heights on the path of world economic integration.
Someone said that Blue is the color of hope! Well, let’s hope and always believe that Sonadezi has taken strategic steps to create a foundation for sustainable development.
