This article is my sincere feelings. I am very honored to be a part of Sonadezi’s team. Although my time with Sonadezi is not long and my understanding of Sonadezi is very limited, I really want to share my own thoughts and views about Sonadezi.
Our young generation will cultivate enthusiasm and readiness so that we can be proud to be a part of Sonadezi
I have read a lot of articles about Sonadezi, projects, activities, events. All of them are very “erudite”, “serious” as true to the position of the Corporation. Personally, I think of my Sonadezi as a woman, it’s a strange thought but I like it very much. I found her very beautiful with a fresh vitality, a resilient bravery and a kind heart. That woman exudes a persistent vitality, a confident, strong attitude. Today, allow me to write about my Sonadezi in the sense of the most beautiful woman in her thirties, a living and soulful Sonadezi.
For me, it was a mixed feeling of pride, anxiety and confidence. I did not get to witness history, I couldn’t get along from the beginning of what has now created that woman’s brand and values, but I am happy to live in the present, along with her in the “most brilliant age” and probably will continue into the future. There are still many things I need to learn to be with her, to grow up with her.
The first time I really knew and felt quite clearly about that woman when I read the yearbook “Sonadezi – 20 years of formation and development” (1) and at that time an indescribable feeling when I felt that I understood somewhat about the mission she has chosen, the truth she pursues, felt the difficulties she has gone through and the courage to fully devote the mission as the name of that woman, Sonadezi (Société nationale Pour Le Desvelopment Des Zone Industrielles – National Company for Industrial Zone Development). In the 60s and the first half of the 70s, that woman was like a volunteer girl of the renewal period, lively, devoting her youth with great ambition, regardless of her age, never surrendering obstacles on the chosen path. She has decided to go her own way and I believe she has devoted all her wisdom, love, and passion to her mission.
I had a small opportunity to meet and listen to the stories of the “seniors” who have been with her since her early days and experienced the ups and downs, hardships and happiness with her,(2) this was really my great luck. With a person who has been in only one-sixth of that woman’s life like me, I probably won’t be able to fully understand those stories, but I feel the pride, happiness, and enthusiasm from the eyes and voices of the “seniors” when talking about their time with her! It seems that it is not only the cohesion of the companions on the same path, but above all, it is the soulmate and family. I feel grateful to have had such great luck. People in my generation will probably never fully understand what the previous generation went through with her to create the values like today: “TRUSTWORTHINESS – ETHICS – WISDOM”. I know that I must always cherish the values that the seniors have built with her and not to let them faded.
She lived with the most memorable youth and I know that woman is happy with the mission she has chosen. From the very beginning, that woman has found a place for herself with special values of her own and she is really great with international relationships! During the period when the country opened up, she broke through her own limits to connect with friends from all over the world. Courageous, resolute yet friendly, open… That is the impression she left on her friends. That woman also has a very warm and kind heart, no matter how many ups and downs, she is still herself, keeping the values of Trustworthiness – Ethics – Wisdom.
I believe that even if she is getting older with time, 40, 50 or a hundred years old, the woman I love will always shine by the same values that live forever with the name Sonadezi.
Our generation must have the responsibility to be worthy of her dedication, cultivate the enthusiasm, passion and bravery, grow up and become more stronger to be proudly a part of the beautiful memories of that woman, a Sonadezi of so many generations.
My heart is full of faith…
