On October 9th, a performing arts contest themed “Sonadezi – Pride and Development” was hosted to celebrate Sonadezi’s 30th anniversary, with positive and long-lasting impressions.
For the contest, there were 41 registered performances from 17 subsidiaries that praised the Vietnamese Communist Party, President Ho Chi Minh, homeland, hardworking spirit, spirit of volunteering, or sense of dedication and determination of all Sonadezi employees for a better future… These were the best rated performances screened at each Sonadezi’s division and subsidiary.

Opening the contest, Mr. Phan Dinh Tham – Sonadezi’s CEO shared that:
“After 30 years of development, Sonadezi has grown into an extended family with 17 subsidiaries. On December 15, 2020, we will celebrate our 30th anniversary. To celebrate this important milestone, performing arts activities were held in the Corporation through 2020. This contest is aimed to select the best performances, but above all, it is a team building opportunity for all Sonadezi employees, thus enhancing their spiritual life and enabling them to complete and better perform their production tasks. I hope the jury will work fairly and objectively to select the most deserving performances, all the contestants will make best efforts to show their talents and bring us their best performances and all spectators will provide their full support to all contestants and teams joining the contest”.

The contest was eventful and exciting and there were also long-lasting emotional moments. The teams all brought their best to the stage with creative artistic performances that showed their characters and talents. They structured their performances around a love for their country, jobs, professions and areas of service, with so much pride to share the same Sonadezi family.
Many orchestrated their performances into real and attractive theme-based shows such as “Trust to rise up” by Sonadezi Service Joint Stock Company, “PDN: Pride in its tradition – Firm and strong steps to the future” by Dong Nai Port Joint Stock Company, “Let’s join hands with Sonadezi in building a more prosperous country” by Sonadezi Environment Joint Stock Company, “Preservation and promotion of national cultural values” by Sonadezi Long Binh Joint Stock Company, “D2D footprint in construction” by D2D Company and “We are Sonadezi” by Sonadezi Giang Dien Joint Stock Company.
Other teams also presented unique singing or dancing performances. These included “Vietnamese spirit” vocal trio performance and “Water” dancing performance by Dong Nai Water Supply Joint Stock Company, “My mother” solo singing by Sonadezi An Binh Joint Stock Company, “At the remote islands” solo singing by Dong Nai Materials and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, “Vietnam Oi” choral singing by Sonadezi Chau Duc Joint Stock Company, “O Me Ly” solo singing by Sonadezi College, and “Construction song” choral singing by Sonadezi Long Thanh Joint Stock Company and “Chapi Dream” solo singing by Dong Nai Housing Trading Joint Stock Company.

Along with the efforts of participating teams, the Organizing Committee adequately arranged modern sound, light, musical instruments, and stage to best support the teams and their performances.

On the quality of the performances, Music composer Cao Hong Son – Technical judge of the contest said: “The performances are all unique and highly artistic to celebrate Sonadezi’s 30th anniversary. In addition to singing and dancing talents, the participating teams have carefully prepared the script, costumes, props, style of performance, etc. to convey meaningful messages that touch the hearts of the jury and the audience. The jury speaks highly of the dedication and talent of the competing teams.
The final results of the teams were evaluated by the jury in a fair and responsible manner. The organizer awarded 01 First prize, 01 Second prize, 01 Third prize, 03 Consolation prizes in each category: solo singing, duet/trio singing, choral singing, dancing. Besides, the organizer presented 01 award for the best song for entrepreneurs, 01 award for the unit having the largest number of participating performances and 01 award for the best show.

The performing arts contest hosted to celebrate Sonadezi’s 30th anniversary has been a great success, creating an interesting and attractive team building opportunity, and fostering spiritual well-being of its employees through vibrant artistic activities after days of hard work. The contest has brought into play the rich artistic potential in each employee, promoted cultural and artistic activities in the Corporation and addressed the internal needs of employees to enjoy and create arts. The contest also promoted team cohesion and solidarity between subsidiaries under Sonadezi.

The success of the competing teams is not only measured by how much love there was to their performances, what memories they brought to the audience and what awards they won, but also viewed by how Sonadezi’s corporate culture was manifested and the excitement towards Sonadezi’s 30th anniversary.
