Industrial Park Development Corporation (SNZ) is one of 10 companies that have just been honored by HNX with the Large-scale Public Company award in 2021-2022.

At the 2022 Annual Business Conference held on November 18, the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) awarded 10 large-scale public companies for the best exercise of information disclosure and transparency and 10 listed companies with the best corporate governance in the evaluation period 2021-2022.
HNX said that the set of evaluation criteria and the evaluation of enterprises are conducted according to the investor perspective-based approach. The set of criteria for evaluating the quality of information disclosure and transparency in 2021-2022 includes 72 criteria including 7 new criteria according to good practice with the goal of promoting enterprises not only towards implementing disclosure for compliance, but also towards voluntary implementation in accordance with international practices. There are 306 large-scale public companies evaluated in this program, accounting for 83.8% of the total market capitalization of UPCoM.
SNZ and the Companies that won the UPCoM Certificate of Large-scale public company on UPCoM satisfactorily perform information disclosure and transparency in 2021-2022
It is known that this is the second time that SNZ has been awarded the UPCoM certificate of Large-scale public company by HNX for good performance of information disclosure and transparency. Sonadezi has been operating as a joint stock company since February 1, 2016 with a charter capital of VND 3,765 billion, and SNZ shares have been trading on the UPCoM market since November 20, 2017. According to the consolidated financial statements of the 3rd quarter of 2022, the total assets of Sonadezi reached nearly VND 23,000 billion, and those of the parent company alone reached over VND 4,690 billion.
Sonadezi currently has 6 subsidiaries that have listed shares on HOSE and HNX; 5 subsidiaries and the Parent Company (SNZ) currently have shares traded on UPCoM. Among these companies, Sonadezi Long Binh Joint Stock Company (SZB) was listed on the HNX on December 20, 2019 with a charter capital of VND 300 billion. The total assets of SZB were nearly VND 1,327 billion as of the 3rd quarter of 2022.
Also, at HNX’s 2022 Annual Business Conference, SZB was one of 10 companies honored with the award “Enterprises Listed on HNX with good corporate governance 2021-2022”.

Amid many difficulties and unpredictable movements on the stock market and sagging investor confidence, the honoring of typical enterprises by HNX has contributed to spreading efforts to implement regulations on information disclosure and corporate governance. At the same time, this creates more motivation for enterprises to improve the quality of information disclosure and transparency, gradually approaching and implementing advanced corporate governance practices. The program also continues to affirm the message: Corporate governance is an important factor for the sustainable development of enterprises, improving investor confidence, market efficiency and promoting economic growth.

According to the Report on the results of the program to assess the quality of information disclosure and transparency of large-scale public companies on the HNX 2021-2022, large-scale public companies with a high state-owned shareholding tend to perform better in terms of information disclosure. Large-scale public companies which have titles of Chairman of the Board of Directors and the CEO separated perform better than those that have the title of Chairman of the Board of Directors cum CEO.
