In 2008, Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee commissioned Sonadezi to develop the Nguyen Van Troi Apartment Project on Nguyen Ai Quoc Street, Quang Vinh Ward, Bien Hoa City. The project includes 4 blocks of 13-storey buildings with 800 apartments in total. This was the first opportunity for Sonadezi to develop such a high-rise project.
Thus, and given its significance, Sonadezi and a number of subsidiaries urgently held a meeting to plan for its implementation. At the meeting, Madame Chu Thi Thu – Sonadezi’s BOD Former Chairwoman asked if: “Have any of our subsidiaries ever developed a high-rise project? How many floors are there in the tallest building you’ve ever developed? Mr. Huynh Do – D2D Company’s Former General Director joked by saying: “D2D has developed high-rise buildings, Ma’am, but such buildings are designed horizontally, not vertically”. The discussion was lively and ended with a strong determination to successfully deliver Sonadezi’s first high-rise apartment project.

The project was delivered by involving a number of companies, including: The Parent company, Sonadezi An Binh Joint Stock Company, D2D Company, Dong Nai Housing Trading Joint Stock Company, Dong Nai Construction Joint Stock Company and Sonadezi Construction Joint Stock Company. After its construction and handover to Bien Hoa City, the Nguyen Van Troi Apartment is evaluated as a modern and high-quality social housing project that offers a dynamic and civilized living environment plus, various amenities to its citizens. The project contributes to enhancing urbanization in Bien Hoa City.

Nguyen Van Troi apartment project was delivered entirely by Sonadezi’s financial and human resources. As socially significant as it is, this project marks the starting point of a more prosperous and stronger development of Sonadezi’s Construction and Building Materials companies.
