The Industrial Park Development Corporation (SNZ) and Dong Nai Water Supply Joint Stock Company (DNW) have been named by the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) as the UPCoM companies with excellent performance in disclosure and transparency in 2019 – 2020.

At the 2020 Annual Business Conference held on October 30, HNX hosted a ceremony to announce large-scale listed and public companies that demonstrated excellent performance in disclosure and transparency in 2019 – 2020 to celebrate the efforts of enterprises in delivery of information disclosure and corporate governance practices. Accordingly, SNZ and DNW were 02 out of 10 UPCoM companies with excellent performance in disclosure and transparency in 2019 – 2020.
SNZ is a well-known player in industrial park development
For this year assessment of the quality of information disclosure and transparency, 278 large-scale public companies, or 41 more companies compared with 2019, were selected. These are large-scale public companies that had registered transactions before April 20, 2019. The average information disclosure & transparency score of these companies on the HNX stock exchange in 2019 – 2020 was 58.01% and 219/278 companies were scored above average.
According to the Organizing Committee, large-scale public companies in the UPCoM Large basket had a higher average disclosure & transparency score, reaching 58.42%. Those companies having a high State holding tended to perform better in disclosing information.
This HNX assessment, aimed to celebrate large-scale listed public companies that conduct information disclosure and transparency practices, has shown that, despite challenges due to Covid-19, listed companies/those with registered transactions have made great efforts, especially in corporate governance.
DNW is currently the main player in clean water supply in Dong Nai province
Among the best UPCoM companies in 2019 – 2020 announced by HNX, the Industrial Park Development Corporation (Sonadezi) is the only one in industrial park infrastructure development and leasing. Sonadezi is one of the market leaders in industrial park development with 11 industrial parks in Dong Nai, Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Binh Thuan.
Sonadezi now has 17 subsidiaries operating in 04 areas, including industrial and civil real estate, construction and building materials, support services, and water supply. Dong Nai Water Supply Joint Stock Company (Dowaco) is a Sonadezi’s subsidiary and is currently the main player in clean water supply in Dong Nai province.
