At the ceremony to celebrate Top 10 most reputable enterprises in real estate – construction – building materials sector in 2021, Sonadezi (HNX: SNZ) was named in the top 10 most reputable industrial real estate companies.
The ranking of most reputable industrial real estate companies in 2021 was announced by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Report) following its assessment based on 3 main criteria: Financial capacity as indicated in the latest annual financial statements, Media credibility assessed using the Media Coding method – coding articles about the company on influential media channels, and survey of stakeholders, conducted in February and March 2021.

The top 10 most reputable industrial real estate companies 2021 include famous brands such as Sonadezi, D2D (a Sonadezi’s subsidiary), Becamex, Vsip, Viglacera, Idico, Kinh Bac City, Tan Binh IP, NTC, Saigon VRG.
Attracting FDI investment worth more than USD 10 billion
Established in 1990, Sonadezi is the first state-owned enterprise to create an industrial park model and is a leading enterprise in industrial park infrastructure development and investment attraction. Sonadezi and its subsidiaries have been developing and managing 11 industrial parks in Dong Nai, Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Binh Thuan covering a total area of more than 4,500 ha.
Aimed to build a solid foundation at every start and effective partnership with investors, Sonadezi’s 10/11 IPs have now been put into operation and accommodated 836 projects with a total registered capital of more than USD 10 billion and nearly VND 19 trillion. These include about 60 projects with investment capital of over USD 10 million. Sonadezi’s FDI partners are from 22 countries and territories, among which, Japanese clients are its top partners with 101 projects and USD 1.8 billion investment.

Developing an ecosystem to better serve investors
Since its conversion to the parent-subsidiary model in 2005, Sonadezi has led a group of subsidiaries operating in different areas and built an ecosystem, including industrial parks, residential areas, urban areas, supporting services, building materials, logistics, construction, supply of fresh water, human resource training, etc., thus creating an enabling business environment with all services in place to serve development investors.

Regarding its experience in industrial park development, Sonadezi’s leader noted that Sonadezi’s successes in industrial park development are firstly grounded by the vision that industrial parks must be sustainable, environmentally friendly and linked with local and its clients’ sustainable development. Currently, Sonadezi’s 10 industrial parks have been put into operation, all of which have centralized wastewater treatment plants with a total capacity of 44,000 m3/day and a total investment amount of about VND 507 billion.

Besides, Sonadezi has invested in 02 large-scale waste treatment projects, namely Quang Trung Waste Treatment Plant (130 ha) in Thong Nhat District and the 21.7ha domestic and industrial solid waste treatment complex in Vinh Cuu district. Sonadezi has invested more than VND 1,700 billion in wastewater and waste treatment plants.
In addition to the existing IPs, Sonadezi is developing the 300-ha Tan Duc Industrial Park in Binh Thuan and exploring new industrial parks. In the years to come, Sonadezi aims to establish ecological industrial parks, implement industrial symbiosis and adopt cleaner production solutions. It will also promote investment in green, smart and modern industrial urban areas, and application and optimization of digital technologies in its operations and quality management while still contributing to national, local and its clients’ sustainable development.
