On December 15, 2020, Sonadezi celebrated its 30th establishment anniversary, marking a journey of a brand’s steadfastness and best efforts with the mission of accompanying customers, localities, and the country.
Sonadezi’s employees
Three decades ago, Sonadezi was established under Decision No. 1713/QD-UBT dated December 15, 1990 of the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province with the mission of pioneering the creation of an industrial park model (IP) to attract investment in the innovation period of the locality and the country.
After 30 years, from the beginning with 08 employees, Sonadezi today is the home of nearly 3,800 employees. From the initial capital of more than VND 1 billion and the revenue of more than VND 300 million, up to now, Sonadezi has become a corporation with 17 subsidiaries, total revenue increased by 17 thousand times (reaching more than VND 5,000 billion/year), charter capital has increased to 3,765 times, total assets reached more than VND 18,800 billion.
From the initial task of maintaining and repairing Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park (Bien Hoa Industrial Park was established by the Société nationale Pour Le Desvelopment Des Zone Industrielles in 1963), Sonadezi has been investing and developing 11 industrial parks in Dong Nai, Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Binh Thuan with a total area of about 4,578 ha.

In particular, Sonadezi has successfully implemented 03 projects under the model of industrial park – urban area, namely Long Thanh Industrial Park – Urban Area, Chau Duc Urban Industrial Park & Golf Course, and Giang Dien Urban Industrial Park. So far, Sonadezi has attracted 803 projects (including 583 FDI projects from 22 countries and territories) with a total registered capital of more than USD 10 billion and VND 16,546 billion.
Sharing about the factors that helped Sonadezi develop in the past three decades, Mr. Phan Dinh Tham – General Director of Sonadezi said, the Company had a favorable start when it was established in the period of national renewal and opening to attract investment. Sonadezi’s IPs have captured the transformation trend of the locality and the country. In addition, the attention, support and facilitation during the past 30 years of authority leaders at all levels in Dong Nai and other localities as well as central ministries and sectors throughout periods have helped Sonadezi form and operate effectively.
Right from the early days of its establishment, Sonadezi has determined the mission of accompanying, creating true value for customers, the locality, and the society. From the first project to a series of later projects in Dong Nai or other localities, Sonadezi’s core values built from the beginning of responsibility, integrity, prestige, and cohesion have always preserved and promoted.

With the efforts over the years, the Sonadezi brand and the Corporation’s products and projects have affirmed its prestige and attraction to investors. Sonadezi currently has more than 800 industrial customers, including many large corporations and brands around the world, which are important partners of leading corporations in the fields of aviation, energy, footwear, electronics, and automobile, motorbikes, typically such as Atus, Kenda, Fujitsu, Teakwang Vina, Olympus, Mabuchi, Meggitt. At the same time, thousands of customers have trusted and used products and services in the field of civil real estate, port, water supply, environmental services, human resource training, construction, building materials, office for lease of Sonadezi and its subsidiaries.
