Sonadezi Corporation organized its Sports Fest 2022 on 2 December. One of the highlights of the fest is the digitization of its online sports event titled “Sonadezi Racing – Together We Win” to bring new experiences to participating athletes.
This has been an annual activity hosted by Sonadezi for many years. At the sports fest 2022, Sonadezi organized hybrid competitions, both in-person (tug-of-war and marathon) and online (running/walking and cycling) contests.
First initiated by Sonadezi in 2021, the online sports events were then carried on in 2022
This is the second year when a certain number of sports events were organized virtually, having athletes to register and compete via the Vietrace365 application. Launched in 2021, the online tournament titled “Sonadezi Racing – Together We Win” encouraged all Sonadezi employees to be physically active and built team cohesion given restrictions on public gatherings in the COVID-19 pandemic. This was part of Sonadezi’s digitalization efforts.
The Sonadezi’s Sports Fest 2022 included diverse individual and team competitions, with 33 teams and 1,550 athletes in total. The online “Sonadezi Racing – Together We Win” contest alone engaged 659 athletes. After 32 days of different events (October 29-November 29, 2022), online running/walking and cycling distance reached a total of 95,741km.

Addressing at the Sports Fest, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai – Sonadezi CEO shared that: “In 2022, along with traditional sports events, Sonadezi also sets up online competitions. This has created new experiences while offering easy scheduling and flexibility to our athletes of such contests; and the results are also recorded objectively and accurately. By launching the online contests, Sonadezi does hope that all of its employees will demonstrate their ownership and readiness to innovate and adopt smart technologies to move along with Sonadezi’s digital transformation process.

This year’s Sonadezi Sports Fest aims at creating a healthy and rewarding environment while building team cohesion through joint non-work activities. It also targets to enhance a pro-sport spirit to build an active and balanced lifestyle in each individual. This will enable Sonadezi employees to improve their physical activity and mental wellness so as to be able to complete all assignments and reach new heights, contributing to Sonadezi’s performance and cultural identity.

After 32 days of online contests and more than 3 hours of exciting in-person events, the Sonadezi Sports Fest 2022 ended with a huge success. A total of 137 and 16 prizes were presented respectively to winning individuals and teams.
Ms. Do Thi Thu Hang – Sonadezi’s BOD Chairwoman and Mr. Tran Thanh Hai – Sonadezi CEO presented prizes to winning marathon runners.
The sports fest 2022 marks and celebrates the 32nd anniversary of Sonadezi Corporation. It also further demonstrates Sonadezi’s comprehensive digitalization efforts towards a modern, professional and stronger company in the years ahead.
