The construction works of the project began on May 18, 2017. Currently, all the items of Thuan Truong – Bau Ham 2 road of about 1.3km are completed including roadbed, drainage system, traffic regulation system (load limit signs, signs placed at intersections, marker posts). The road that was degraded terribly now is replaced by a spacious and beautiful road using hot asphalt paving. The road improves the vitality of Song Thao commune.
Thuan Truong – Bau Ham 2 road with a total investment of about VND 3.1 billion is a rural transport project implemented by Sonadezi Corporation and its subsidiaries. The project aims to enhance rural transport infrastructure and meet the needs of people living in Song Thao commune. This project is a part of the provincial program initiated by the Delegation of the National Assembly in Dong Nai province. The program’s objectives were strengthening the linkages between localities and companies operating in the province as well as supporting the disadvantaged areas.
According to Ms. Do Thi Thu Hang – Member of the Delegation of the National Assembly in Dong Nai province, Chairwoman of Sonadezi Corporation, during her meetings with voters of Song Thao commune, she as well as other members of the Delegation was told about the difficulties and hardships that people living here encountered. In the wartime, Song Thao people made great contributions to war effort and provided logistical support to Bien Hoa U1 Provincial Party Committee. In the peacetime, Song Thao people joined forces with localities to build new-style countryside and turned Song Thao into a major agricultural raw material area. However, Song Thao people still experienced plenty of hassle due to a lack of essential infrastructure. Thuan Truong – Bau Ham 2 road was degraded terribly, making it difficult for the locals to engage in traffic and transport agricultural products, especially during the rainy season.
